Attachments in Outlook 2003 Contacts to Business Contacts in BCM

I use Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager. I have many hundreds
of Contacts (in Contacts, Outlook 2003) that have attachments linked
within the Notes Section. How do I transfer these attachments along
with the Contacts when I save them as Business Contacts within
Business Contact Manager?

When you try to copy Contacts to Business Contacts you get the
message: Can't copy the items. The destination folder does not support
attachments.. therefore the messages containing attachments were
copied to the destination folder without the attachments.

What I think is needed is a means of stripping out the attachments
from the Contacts then automatically creating a file which is linked
to the correct Business Contact.

BCM does not store attachments. Therefore, you would need to save those
attachments as files somewhere, then create a separate history item linking
each attachment with each contact. History items are Outlook journal items
using a custom form, but the exact linking mechanism, which occurs through
the BCM database is not documented. Therefore, at present, there's no
automated way to do this.
