Attachments not seen

I will send files (jpg, doc or zip) to various recipients
using Outlook 2002. Some people are able to see the
attachments and use them. Others will download the e-
mail, but they do not see the attached files (the download
will take some time with large files so it seems that the
associated files are there). Is this a problem with my
Outlook, some setting or check box that I have or is it
their e-mail programs?

I am having the same problem with Outlook 2000/Word 2000.
