I need to open an attachement emailed to me by a McAfee Technician that will
solve a problem I am having with that software. My problem is that the
McAfee security software is no longer communicating with it's update center
even though my internet settings are all set properly. McAfee is aware of
this issue and sent me a patch via email however, I cannot open it in hotmail
or outlook because it's a .reg file. Any help will be very much appreciated!!!

That is a registry file and if you click on the file it will add info to the
registry. If you are having trouble using the file contact McAfee for
assistance on using the file.
