Audio file terminates prematurely when played

Hello,

The MP3 audio files inserted into PowerPoint (2002 and
2003) terminates prematurely (after approximately 3
seconds) before being completed when I view the slide show.
The audio files do play in their entirety (approximately
12 seconds) when the audio icon is clicked in the Normal
View. The MP3 files play fine in Windows Media Player and
other players.

Any ideas?

Do you have other animations happening after the audio
starts? That could be stopping it from playing.
