mosh

hi guys.

i have an outlook.pst file of about 1.4 GB - quite big, and still growing...
i gt reminders every now and again to atoc archive, but generally say no,
'cos i'm scared i wont be able to find the email afterwards...
so can some one help me -
1) will auto-archiving decrease the pst file size?
2) how will i be able to access/search/read archived mail items after i do
this?

thanks!!

1. Yes and no. Yes it will remove items from your .pst file but you will
then need to compact it.
2. Use File->Open and navigate to where you saved your archive.pst file.

I can't open the .pst file. I get a message that says "Outlook couldnot track
the program used to open this document." Any ideas?
