Auto Responder on Public Folder

Hi,

I've got Ex2k3 and have a Public folder setup with an auto reply. Problem is
we get a virus pretend to be from the email address the box is set to and it
gets sent back as an NDR, then the box sends out an auto reply, which
generates an NDR, which blah blah, or someone emails it from a box with some
auto reply on it, which starts an auto loop...

Is there a way i can set the number of emails it'll send to one address? or
another way around the problem?
