auto run html cd

Glenn

I have a website that I'd like to save to a cd and set it so that when the
user puts the cd into their computer it automatically launches internet
explorer and loads the page named index.htm.

Is this possible? If so, how do I do it?

Thanks.

One way is to use an autorun.inf file, that you place on the CD "outside" of your web
folder.
It is made using notepad, is saved as autorun.inf and contains these two lines:

[Autorun]
shellexecute=webfoldername/index.htm

Where webfoldername is the name of the folder containing your web.

Another way is to use Shellrun which can be found on the bottom of this page.
