AutoArchive in Outlook 2003

I am trying to Archive my email but keep on getting an
error message that says the item is currently being
scanned for viruses and it won't let me archive the item.
I am running Norton AntiVirus Corp Edition 8.0 and have
disabled the Virus scanning but still get this message.
