AutoClose not working

I recently upgraded to Word 2003, while most at my office are still using
2000. When I had 2000 myself, I created a template using the AutoClose
procedure. It worked perfectly to ask users if they wished to turn on Track
Changes (if it wasn't already engaged) upon closing a document created from
my template.

I recently created another similar template using Word 2003, using the same
AutoClose procedure. This one, however, does not work in either 2000 or
2003. The documents created from it simply close without prompting the user
for track changes. Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere? Is it a
compatibility issue? I find it odd that I can't even get it to work in my
2003 version. Thanks!

Let's see now. You have something which works in Word 2000. You have
something 'similar' which doesn't work in Word 2000. I would be looking at
the differences between the two for some kind of clue as to what the problem
might be. Unfortunately for me I can't see either template.

I don't know if the change of version is relevant - does the original
template (which worked in 2000) still work in 2003?
