Autocorrect behaviour

Not sure whether this is the right place to post this, but
here goes.

I have a user that that wants to use Auto correct. It is
set up correctly (I believe) and it works on all new
documents she creates from the normal template. When she
creates a new document from another template, it will not
work.
I have done some research and it appears that if I store
all of my autocorrect entries in a Global template, that I
start at startup of word, then it will have the
autocorrect entries in it.
Is this correct, or is there another solution.
Also the user used to use word 97, and has moved to word
XP, is there a possible issue there. She has moved to a
new PC in the group, and we just logged her on with her
roaming profile, and everyhting worked.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

AutoCorrect entries (except formatted ones) are stored not in templates but
in *.acl files, one for each language.

Yes that I am aware, of, so cna you shed some light on why
it works on docs based on normal.dot, but not other
Document templates.

The language may be set differently, or it may be AutoText rather than
AutoCorrect (or it may be formatted AutoCorrect).

It ended up being the language setting ont he PC.
Got it sorted in the end.
Thanks.
