Automatic E-Mail reply when away from office

P

Parisher

How do I set up (1) Outlook and (2) Outlook Express e-mail to automatically reply to incoming mail to notify sender that I'm away from office for a week and will not be checking my e-mail? I've received messages like this, but don't know how to set up my terminal to do it. My computer uises Outlook, and another in the office uses Outlook Express, and we both want to do it.

Outlook Express doesn't support rules or OOF.

In Outlook, choose "Tools" and then "Out of Office Assistant" from the menu.

In Outlook Under "Tools" I can't find a menu pick anywhere that says, "Out of Office Assistant".
