Automatic send/receive

How do you set up automatic send/receive in Outlook 2000.
I found a document on the internet and it says it is in
the internet e-mail tab in Options. I do not have that
option. We are using Exchange 5.5 and her mail is going to
a personal folder on her computer.

Why isn't the user using Personal Folders rather than delivering to the Exchange mailbox?
