Automatic Update

Hi,
I have created a slide show that has a linked slide to an
Excel spreadsheet. I have the automatic update set in
order to see the changes in real time. The slide will not
update unless I right click on slide and click update. Is
there a way to make it update automatically or have I got
a setting wrong?

MCorn,
You could consider to use www.take-off.as/datapoint for live running updated
presentations.
Otherwise you have to write some vba that is simulating that link refresh on
a regular basis.

If you wish to update the contents of the Excel file while the show is
running, ensure that the workbook is shared to avoid error. By default the
workbook is opened in exclusive mode which will only permit a single
application to modify it.
