Automatic updates between files

Hello
Does anybody know why updates of inserted information
between project files might not work?

E.G: I copied a task and pasted it into another project
file via "Insert contents" with the "link" option. I
expected that changes in the original file will result in
an update of the other file. After closing and reopening
both files the update function didn't work anylonger. I
had to do the update manually?

Hello Tom,
Have you tried the "Automatically accept new external data" option in the
View tab of Tools / Options dialog?
Clear the "Show links between Project..." check box before doing that.
