Automatically Send Emails

I am looking for a free add-in that allows me to automatically send
emails for the following scenarios:

*Send in status report
*Happy B-day messages (ideally personalized with a name)
*Reminder for making quarterly/yearly appointments
*etc.

Any suggestion for such a free tool would be highly appreciated. I
don't mind if it needs some minor customization/programming.
