Automating Timelines from MS Project

I'm trying to program MS Project so that it can create a Vision timeline automatically

I'm using the Visio Timeline stencils and can create the timeline and drop the milestones onto it. However, each time I drop one onto the page, the "Customizations" dialog box is displayed. I cannot work out a way to automate filling in those dialog boxes

HAs anyone got any ideas?

The intended solution is to set the Application.AlertResponse property to
automatically dispose of this dialog. However, there is a bug in Timeline
that prevents this from working. You may see whether you can do something
like SendKeys to the dialog, but I am not sure there is a workaround here.

BTW, Visio can import a MS Project file and automatically create a Timeline
for you. Is that an option?

Thanks, Mark. I haven't used the import because I only want a subset of the totla set of tasks (filetered on one of the flag fields). Do you have any idea if that bug is goign to be fixed soon or whether I should just workaround?

I don't have any information on a fix. I suggest that you try to
workaround.
