Dear Yi ,
Thank you for posting to a Microsoft Newsgroup.
Your question was "Does Microsoft Works support VBA and automation?"
unfortunately the answer is no. MS Work is geared for home users that need
a less featured and straightforward suite for word processing,
spreadsheets, and data collection. Thus by its very desing; MS Works
lightweight approach suits the intended audience very well. However, this
same design limits the addition of an automation infrastructure.Regards,

| I have a VB application that was developed with Word and Excel object
model (XP). It opens a word document and updates some Excel worksheet
objects embedded in this Word document. I wonder if this application can
run with Microsoft Works. Or, does Microsoft Works support VBA and
automation?
Many thanks in advance.
Yi
