I can't seem to insert a AutoCAD file (.dwp or.dxf) into
PowerPoint. I was able in PowerPoint 97. Has anyone
seem a retire of the file type or have a work around. I
can take this file into Visio and then into PowerPoint
but a lengthy work around.

Thanks

I'm not 100% sure about this...but the DXF filter for powerpoint may not be installed with ppt xp...unless you
specifically ask for it to be installed. Or maybe microsoft have quietly removed it

Which version of AutoCAD? (Autodesk changed the format with their latest
release.)
