Autotext not working properly

Q

QM31

I have been adding names - Mr A Brown etc - and currently have 10 listed.

As I add new names it appears that some of the previous names ceases to function as autotext although they remain in the list.

Can anybody please help?

Are the first four characters of the autotext name unique?
To get the prompt the first four characters must be unique - the autotext
will still work by selecting it from the menu or by typing its name and
pressing F3.

If you're talking about the ability to use AutoComplete for these AutoText
entries, note that this works only when the first four characters of the
AutoText entry *name* (not the entry itself) are unique. If two entries have
the same first four characters, then you will have to type more than four
(sometimes many more) before AutoComplete kicks in.
