Background Design disappears when opening in 97

Hi

I am creating atraining package in PPT 2003 which I need to convert to PPT
97 as the end user only has capability of opening in PPT 97.

Saving is no problem, however, when the end user opens my presentations the
background design on the slides has disappeared. How can I fix this?
