background fill effects

i would like to create a button that automatically brings up the 'fill
effects' dialog box and then applies it's settings as soon as the user
presses 'ok' to the currently selected slides backgrounds. there already
exists a backgrounds button but then you have to click again to get the 'fill
effects' dialog and then once you press ok you have to then click 'apply' or
'apply to all'...

Hi,

Best way to do that is via vba, which someone else will have to help you
with. I've done it here for background images to autoshapes, but it isn't
pretty and I wouldn't distribute it to anyone. But it can be done.

Please tell us your PowerPoint version,
whether you are using vba,
whether your dog has fleas, or
anything else relevant.

is it possible to somehow get a copy of the user form that is used and use it
as my custom user form?
