Backing up emails and addressbooks

Hi,
I share a computer with my husband, it uses OS Windows
2000. My husband's emails and address books have
completely dissappeared from his account but not mine. I
have been trying to find out how to backup my e-mails and
address books to outside of Outlook Express 6. Is it
possible to do such a backup? If it is, please also let
me know how to restore the backup and open them up into
Outlook Express again. I thank you.
