Backup Encryption

Hi

Whilst backing up (exporting)my Outlook folders to CD I
was given the options of No Encryption, Compressible and
Best. I opted for No Encryption. When trying to restore
it it is saying that there is an error with the files
that the Inbox repair tool can't seem to sort out. I
have dragged the file to the desktop and removed the Read
Only.

I run a small business from home and the loss of this
info is major stuff.

Please can anyone tell me if the 2 are linked and how I
might be able to retrieve my info.

How did you do the export? Did you export to a PST file, then burn the CD?
Verified that the PST file was good by opening it from your hard drive
before burning the CD?

I doubt it's the encryption. More likely a problem either with the export or
