HI there, I'm a basic but avid Word User. Used to have MS 2003 for PC, now switched to Mac, MS 2008. I could always easily underline, centre, change colour, font etc. It was always right in front of me. Where are those functions in MS 2008? Can't even underline or centre my text or mark changes in red etc Are those functions hidden? Where? I learnt to use the old version without any help, but am completely stuck here. Would be grateful for any help anyone could give me. Please keep terminology simple:) Thanks so much, Karen

Hi Karen:

Those functions are almost exactly the same place as they are in Word 2003.

Go to View>Toolbars and make sure you have the Standard and Formatting
toolbars showing.

Track Changes is on the status bar at the bottom of the screen: see the
letters TRK? Double-Click them to turn it on or off.

Cheers

Alternatively, you might want to give the Formatting Palette a try.
Click on View>Formatting Palette to make it appear; it will give you
convenient access to the most commonly used features in Word.
