BCC addresses

I have a user here at work who has been trying to send
out some very important emails. Well he BCCs himself to
make sure he has a copy of what it looks like when it
goes out. However, when he sends his message he can hear
the sound notification that he has new mail but the
message does not actually show up in the Inbox. Can
someone help?

Does he have a view applied to his Inbox, such as "Unread Messages" or
perhaps a filter?

Maybe he has a rule running (Tools | Rules Wizard) that moves or deletes
messages that don't have his name in the TO: or CC: fields?
