BCWS not calculated even though Resource rates are provided

I am unable to view the BCWS values for certain tasks even though these tasks
have been assined resources; resources have rates; tasks have been baselined
and we are past the start dates on the tasks (Aug 22 - Sept 5). What am I
missing?

Thanks for your help

Hi Nan,

What is the status date of your project (Project > Project Information)?

Hi Nan,

I assume changing the status date did not fix the problem. You mention
that it only occurs on certain tasks. Is the same resource assigned to
those certain tasks? Is the resource's cost accrual set to end?

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Julie,

These tasks are not assigned a single resource. They are spread across
multiple resources. The commonality is that all these tasks start after
8/22. All the resources' cost accrual are set to end.

Thanks

Hi Nan,

If the tasks start after 22 August but end after the status date and the
resource's cost accrual is set to end, the BCWS will be zero until the
status date is equal to the end date of the task. Setting a resource's
cost accrual to end means that the cost for the resource is not charged
until the end of the task. Therefore the budgeted cost is zero until
the end date of the task is reached.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Were these tasks there when you Baselined the project?
