I am creating my first web site in Frontpage 2003. I want to add some
graphics (corporate-type pictures, etc.). To experienced web designers:
Which sites do you go to to get these free and clear of copyright
restrictions?

Many thanks,

Yes......I did and got 57,300,000 results. I'm sure that's enough for you.

Personally, I usually start with Microsoft's clip art then work out from
there. Most clipart is crapola as you will see by searching. Also, I've
purchased a few clipart CDs which are pretty quick and easy as far as rights
go...and I think faster than looking on the net.

For photos you should look into something like istockphotos.com, where you
build up "points" buy uploading your own good photos for public consumption
and you can "buy" other's work with your points or by buying points. There
is some excellent stuff there, and istockphotos is not the only site like
this.

Usually, if I can't find a photo within a reasonable time I'll just grab my
camera and go shoot what I need and not have to worry about rights.

Searching through 57 million clipart sites will keep you off the streets :)

I glad you posted sxc, I'd used it a lot in the past and totally forgot the
url for it!

Thanks!

|I prefer www.istockphoto.com and www.sxc.hu. Istock has bet quality
| images that you can purchase for around $1 (web quality); whereas stock
| exchange is free.
