Bevelled shapes in Visio?

Is there a way in Visio to set a shape as bevelled?
That is, it Visio lacking behind Microsoft Powerpoint
in what concerns 3D and shape effects?

No real way to set a native Visio shape as bevelled.

Couple of ways to simulate the effect would be to:
1. Use a shadow and change the shadow's offset in the Shapesheet for the
shape.
2. Use a custom shape that is created by maybe grouping two shapes to create
a bevel effect.
