I just migrated from my Palm desktop to Outlook.
Then, I tried to send an e-mail to one of the new contacts. I went into
Inbox, create new message, then clicked the "to" button. After I did the
migration, I found several lines of blank "names" on the list. When I
scrolled the list down further, I found several blank names with just
"E-Mail" showing. I then went to the properties tab for those showing
"E-Mail", figured out which contacts they were, then went to Contacts and
"re-defined" the "File As".
After I finished with all of the blank "E-Mail" items on my name list, there
are still several blank lines. When I try to click properties, it gives me
an error message: "The Properties dialog box could not be displayed. An
invalid ENTRYID was passed in." I then hit the OK button and the same
message comes up again.
I'm not sure what contact records (if any) are associated with these blank
lines on my name list. If they are truly blank, then I can/will just delete
them.
Can anybody help me with this?
Thanks,
Sue
