Blocking email addresses

Hello, from registering in newsgroups such as this, I have
been receiving alot of unsolicited email from spambots.

I am trying to block email addresses by using a wildcard
in Outlook Express but to no avail. I have tried:

*@dogdeycompany.foo , etc,

and it does not work. Would I be better off using third
party software or does a method already exist?

I am using MSOE 6.0. Any help would be appreciated!

PS: Another option is using delivery rules on the server,
but the host does not support this.

Try using something that is still considered a valid email address but just
not correct. A spambot might just be stripping the "*" out of the address
(since * isn't allowed in an email address).

Try something like (e-mail address removed).
