blocking emails by first line of message

like everyone else i receive many emails where it appears that sender is
using a database of email addresses for sending. Is there any way to block
emails by first line of message - receiving a lot from Smart Money Equities -
message begins with that name - thanks

What version of Outlook are you using?

If it's Office Outlook you could create a rule that deletes messages based
upon certain phrases in the body of the message.

You might also Google for "SpamBayes."

I don't have OL2003 in front of me at the moment, but Tools | Rules Wizard
(or Rules & Alerts, I forget) | New Rule...there is a wizard to walk you
thru it. Just make sure under criteria you select "With specific words in
the message body" (or something like that) and under actions you tell it to
Delete the messages.

You'll also want to click the "Specific words in the message..." and enter
the phrases you want it to check for. It's pretty simple to do.

For your first pass rather than having it Delete those messages it might be
safer if you choose to have them moved to your Junk E-mail folder...until
you're confident that it's not accidentally catching messages you want.
