Blocking Spam

Craig Burson

Is there any way to set up a filter that will block email
when the name is changing but the IP address is staying
the same? For example, I may get multiple emails with the
following addresses. (e-mail address removed),
(e-mail address removed), (e-mail address removed). Is there any
way to set up one filter that blocks all of these (ie.
(e-mail address removed) or something like this)?

thanks

Use just domain name in Junk Filter f.e. "maillists.com" or *@maillist.com
(without commas)

Just add maillists to your junk filter list. Do not add
the .com because a trick is to use .net .biz .com etc...
The best part is that if the key word shows up ANYPLACE in
the addy it's be marked as junk. There are draw backs to
this so think before you add. Ex. My ISP is optonline.net
I can't use online in a rule because it'll trip on my own
ISP's mail.

Just add maillists to your junk filter list.

Do you mean the Junk Mail Sender list? That won't block the junk, only
change its title's color unless you set up a rule.

Brian.Tillman is the name, smiths-aerospace.com is the domain.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.
