blurry images in publisher2003

Publisher 2003: All of a sudden when I import images from a file (any
format: jpg; .gif; tiff) it appears blurry on the page template. The
thumbnail looks fine, the print preview looks fine. These same images appear
normal in all other Office 2003 programs. Any ideas?

thumbnail looks fine, the print preview looks fine.

View > Pictures > Detailed display. Your system will slow down a little,
especially if these are very high-res or large images.
