If you would -

Please take a look at a page at our daughter's web site at:

http://www.darienart.com/picsall.htm

scroll down to, say, the picture "Pillars of Mist" and click on the picture.

You should be taken to: http://www.darienart.com/xpillarsofmist.htm

In the upper right is a link labeled "Home"

When it is clicked on it goes back to the top of the page the link points
to.

Is there a way to get it to just go 'back' (like the back button does) to
the same place in the linked to page that I just left - ie the "pillars"
point of the page instead of the top?

Thanks

Jim

You need to use a combination of a hyperlink and
bookmark. The hyperlink will take you to the desired page
and the bookmark will take you to a specific spot on that
page.

On the first page create a bookmark to mark the specific
place on that page you wish to return to from the second
page.

On the second page create a hyperlink to return to the
first page. When creating this hyperlink you will notice
a Bookmark button. Click on it and select the bookmark.
