Bringing my laptop out of 'standy' to collect e-mails

Glyn Jones

I'm going on holiday without my laptop. I use Windows 2000 Professional and
Outlook 2002. Is it possible to set up an arrangement whereby Outlook polls
my service provider for e-mails at some regular period say once per day,
sends an 'out of office reply' and for the laptop to be able to go to 'standy
mode' for the rest of the time?
Thanks for any help

Is it connected to an Exchange Server? If not, you will need to use rules
and Task Scheduler.
