budget without printer Project 2003

I recently move, and don't have access to my printer. I can't view reports,
like the budget report because there is not printer connected. Is there a way
to override this, or just simply view the report. Here are the steps I am
currently using
Click on "View"
Click on "Reports"
Click on "Costs"
Click and select the "Budget" report

From here I get a no printer set up error. Any help would be great.

Hi James,
In order to preview reports you must have a printer driver installed
although you don't need an actual printer connected. Install a printer
driver (in the Printer Wizard uncheck "Automatically Detect and Install my
Plug and Play printer") and you should be all set.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

JulieS,

This helped me install a printer driver, however when I try to view a report
I get a new error message stating the printer connection is not working. Any
other ideas would be great. I won't be able to get my printer out of storage
for a few days. It is way in the back on the storage building.

Hi James,

What version of Project are you using and what operating system? When you
installed the printer driver did you select a local or network printer? I
routinely have to install printer drivers in the classrooms where I work and
do just fine with a local printer (just driver), no plug and play.
