Bug with "Select Objects" Arrow

My "Select Objects" arrow, part of the DRAWING toolbox, seems to be stuck in
the active mode. It no longer toggles on/off when I click on it. When it's
ON, you can't copy/paste objects. Note that it was working correctly 2-3 days
ago. No software installs or updates have been done recently (since it worked
correctly). Suggestions?

Several ideas,
You might be in SlideSorter View or Notes View or who know's what
View.

Me, i'd just hit Ctrl + S to save the puppie and re-boot and see what
happens.

Thanks, Brian. I was definitely in NORMAL view. I had shut down PowerPoint
several times. The reboot did it.
