I have set a website in word (2000) without making use of the website wizard.

What is the best way to set up a custom template that can allow all pages to be be updated in the future

I think you should take note of Rob S's comments: the HTML created by Word
is truly AWFUL. Particularly for Aussie farmers (given the drip-feed dial-up
connections most of them have to put up with). A web page created in Word is
typically 10 times the size of the same page created using a real HTML
editor, even one as cludgy as FrontPage.
