bulk assignments

is there a way to assign many enterprise resources in a 'bulk' fashion to a
project?

If this is a Project Server question you might get a better answer in the
project.server news group.

If you mean import to the Enterprise, then the Import wizard is the best
way. If you mean assign resources to a Task or Tasks, then Project Help has
several ways of assigning resources to multiple tasks. What in particular
are you trying to do?

Thanks Rod, let's say I have a spreadsheet with several resources on them
that are already in the enterpise resource pool. I'm trying to get all of
these resources assigned to the same project all at once. Is there a quick
way of doing this and still keep them in the enterprise pool rather than
making them local resources? In short I'm trying to assign several resources
to the same project, but not one at a time and not as local resources. Thanks
again

Just cut and paste the resources from the spreadsheet
into the resource sheet in the plan.

Now, IF and ONLY IF the resource name is identical,
("Smith John" and "Smith john" is not identical)
when you do a "Save" it will "detect" that the "local"
resources have identical names the names in the
resource pool. It will ask you if you want to use
(or map a resource) the Enterprise Resource Pool.

Try it with a small plan with a few resources and see
how it works first before you try your mega-plan...
