Bullets in Notes Master?

J

Joan NYC

I am experimenting with the Notes Master and was
wondering why I could not format it with bullets as I
would a regular master slide. No problem formatting the
master with bullets but it doesn't carry over to the
regular notes

Am I barking up the wrong tree or doing something wrong?

Thanks much

Joan,
Did your notes have formatting on them before you started? If so, I can
replicate what you are seeing here. To get the new bullet format to apply, I
had to go to each slide in Notes View. While hovering over the notes area,
right click and select "Notes Layout". Check the box for "Reapply master".
This should add the new formatting to the notes. You may, however, have to
do the re-apply on each slide. (Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't.
Haven't figured out the pattern myself yet.)

Hope this helps!

XP

I didn't upgrade to 2003 yet being unemployed and/or not
deciding if it was worth upgrading

However I am exploring the notes thing as I was
questioned about it on a "Technical Interview" (which was
a total joke, btw)

Decided to explore it as I like to learn ALL

Thanks Kathy
