Hello!
I wrote a macro, that will save dokument from template to .doc
I'm trying to do it by button. But when i'm putting the button into .dot,
option "Protect form" is invisible.
What can i do?

Normally, you don't need a macro for that. Users double click on a *.dot and
a *.doc ids automatically created.
I think you would benefit by trying to explain what you want to achieve.

Maybe you are creating a template for users to modify and for them to
generate documents for distribution based on the changed template? Even in
that case, a button is not the way to go because the documents generated
that way will also have the button...

In any case, the reason the option is greyed out is that you are in design
mode. As soon as you insert an ActiveX control, Word automatically goes in
design mode so that you can configure your ActiveX, like your button.Click
on the first button on the Controls toolbar to quit Design mode.

Personally, I avoid ActiveX control like the pest (In five years I have use
them once, and only for "show" I could have use a MACROBUTTON field instead.

Thanks for info.
I created a template for users. It has a lot of text form fields. I thought,
that user will input some text into template and then he will push a button
to send it to the server by email (or copy to specified folder).
But i don't know how to bind macro for it....

A template is a *.dot. Most of the time, we use a template to create
documents (*.doc).
Generally, users should be filling in your form as a *.doc, not a *.dot.

See

for ideas on sending a Word document by email.
Use the code with your button.
