It seems very unlikely this is a problem you are having with Microsoft Word,
so why did you post it to (among other NGs) microsoft.public.word.newusers?

I get it now too on a couple of AVI files that used to play perfectly. I
don't know what's causing the behavior and apparently someone else is having
the same problem.
