I am trying to do a calculation of one form field with a default number, can this be done? and how?

i.e. i have a field that acreagew is typed in and i want to take that acreage and multiply it by 134.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Sure.

The field that holds the acerage has a bookmark. With the
form not protected, doulbe click on that field. Look at
the Field Settings and note the Bookmark name (Text1 by
default if the first field in the document). Check the
option for "calculate on exit.

Insert another text field and double click it. Set the
field type to calculation. In the expression window put
=(text1*134)

Click OK and protect your form.
