Calculating the difference between dates in a Running Sum report

Does anyone know if it is possible? And if so, how?

Just to be clear I want to have hte report capture the # of days
between each date listed on the detail of the running Sum line entries
and then use this # of days as part of a separate calculation on the
same report.

I have been trying DateDiff to no avail.
