This is nothing to do with Office really but calc.exe is typically found in
C:\windows\system32. You can create a shorcut to it and put it in (documents
and settings)\All Users\Programs\Accessories and change the properties to
make it match the original if you want - or you could take enormous pleasure
from learning to count :)

I never use it myself so I've never considered how best to do it - I
probably would do that (or at least Win key+R) but that wasn't the question
:)

I'm not supposed to download anything on my work computer. I prefer not to

I work on the accounts payable sometimes. Some of the bills we get need to
be broken down into separate accounts. For example, we get one bill for all
of the dictation services provided to out doctors. About 10 doctors use them
and those 10 doctors are in 4 different practices. The bill has the cost per
doctor with a subtotal. The tax is added after the subtotal. I need to break
down the total to the four practices, including the tax. Since I'm "just a
temp", I don't have an adding machine at my desk and like I said, I
sometimes bury my calculator.

LOL - I didn't really want to know details of the calculations you do. What
intrigues me is that there are a myriad ways to do calculations when you are
sitting in front of a computer - If you really can't count, Word will do
one-liners and Excel will do anything a calculator can do, all with less
chance for error.

FWIW I have never owned a calculator (although I did used to have a slide
rule) so I know that whatever else is buried on my desk or in my bag it
isn't a calculator.
