I have a Number field that is based off the Work field. So everytime I change
the Work field, that Number field changes. Is the a way to freeze that Number
field. I just want that Number field to calculate once and freeze if I change
the Work field.

Instead of a formula (whose calculation is automatic) write a VBA procedure
that you'll run only once.
