calendar on windows start up

Can someone tell me how to start Outlook's calendar
automatically when I log onto windows xp? Just putting
Office into the startup program from the start menu does
not work. I would like my calendar to "pop up" when I
start working on my computer w/o having to hit the icon.
Or is this even possible? Thanks in advance!

If you are using Office XP you can perform the clicks below. Not sure about
other versions

Tools, Options, Other, Advanced Options and change "Startup in this folder"
to Calendar.

This will force Outlook to open to the Calendar page. If you keep Outlook
in your startup group, it should open to this page automatically (depending
on your login settings)

Hope that helps,

Stephen

Thanks Stephen, I guess my problem is getting outlook
into the startup group, since I already do have calendar
at outlook startup. I am not familiar with xp yet, can
you tell me how to put outlook in my startup group? I'll
research it too if you don't have time to reply. Thanks
so much for your help!

I re-read your post and I think I am clear on what you want to do now.
There's a couple of ways to do that, but here's how I would do it.

1. Right-click on the icon for Outlook and select Create Shortcut - this
should create a shortcut to Outlook on your desktop.
2. Left-click on the shortcut you created and hold the mouse button while
you drag the shortcut to the start button
3. Wait for the start menu to open and drag the icon over to the Programs
menu
4. Wait for the Programs menu to open and continue dragging the icon to
your Startup folder
5. Drop the icon in the Startup folder.

I just tried this on Windows XP and it works.

Good luck

Stephen
