Calendar restore

We recently used Arcserve to do a brick leval restore of a single calandar
item for a single user, the restore seemed to go fine. However, since doing
the restore users have stated that they have lost items in their calendars as
well as rights they previously had to other users calendars. We are looking
for reason why other users would be affected when we only choose one user and
one item to restore. Any ideas we be helpful. Thanks
