Calendar shows all events as folders with .eml extensions

I have an issue in which every time I create or accept a calendar event it creates a .eml folder under the exchange calendar.

I see that someone had this issue before and "rebuilt the database". I don't know what that means or how to begin doing that.

Can you provide some guidance to resolve this issue. .eml folders upon .eml folders upon .eml folders is getting very tiresome and frustrating.

This is a known issue with no certain fix. The Macintosh Business Unit
at Microsoft is aware of this problem.
