Is there any easy way to drop a calendar template into excel?

Can you clarify what you mean by "...drop a calendar template into excel?"?

Templates don't get "dropped into" anything... A template is a special type
of file on which new files are based. There are several Calendar templates
in the Project Gallery but they all generate Word documents, not Excel
workbook files.

There also are a number of additional Calendar templates available from the
MS website. Many of them can be used by Mac Office even though they may not
specifically say so. As long as it doesn't rely on VBA or ActiveX it should
work on either PC or Mac.
